THIScar is one of the largest direct-from-consumer vehicle buying services in the United States. We purchase vehicles directly from owners across the country and sell thousands of them back to the automotive industry. Those vehicles are typically purchased by dealerships, marked up, and then resold to consumers. But we keep a small, carefully selected number of the vehicles we’re offered and sell them directly to the public from our Tomball location. In fact, we sell more vehicles to auto dealers than we sell to consumers. Think of THIScar as a direct-to-consumer used-vehicle warehouse. Because we acquire our inventory directly from its previous owners—not from auto auctions—you can buy closer to the source while avoiding the excessive markups, fees, haggling, and traditional dealership experience. THIScar is a modern pre-owned vehicle retailer and vehicle buying company based in the Houston area. We are a team of customer-focused professionals working to make buying or selling a vehicle simpler, faster, and more transparent. We believe the car business should feel different. That means fair, no-haggle pricing, carefully selected inventory, professional appraisals, and a team focused on helping customers make confident decisions. We are not perfect, but when we make a mistake, we own it and work to make it right.

All of our vehicles come with one key. One of the ways we are able to keep our prices as low as they are, is by repurposing keys whenever possible. If you want, we can check to see IF we have the ability to program a second key. It isn’t always possible. If we do have one that can be programmed as a second key to your vehicle, we do make it available for purchase. We always recommend buying the second key when possible because the price of towing and key replacement, depending on the vehicle, can vary from a few hundred to nearly a thousand dollars.

THIScar is different because we are built around both sides of the automotive transaction: helping customers buy quality pre-owned vehicles and helping customers sell their current vehicles directly to us. Many traditional dealerships rely heavily on wholesale auctions for inventory. THIScar focuses on buying vehicles directly from the public, which allows us to be more selective about the vehicles we offer for retail sale and gives local customers a better way to sell their vehicle without a traditional dealership process.

THIScar operates a retail dealership in Tomball, Texas, where customers can shop for and purchase vehicles. We also operate dedicated Buying Centers designed specifically for customers who want to sell their vehicle to THIScar. Buying Centers are not traditional dealership showrooms, and customers do not have to buy a vehicle from us in order to sell us their car.
